Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born December 13, 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift is a pop/country singer-songwriter for more than 20 years. Her tales about romance and love at first sight have gained her widespread popularity throughout the 21st century. Swift showed an interest in music at an early stage and progressed swiftly into roles in theater for children until her first performance before hundreds of people. When she was 11 years old, she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball match and next year, she took up guitar and began writing songs. Drawing inspiration from musicians from the country genre like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original songs that were a reflection of her own experiences of the tween years and alienation. Swift relocated from Pennsylvania along with her parents into Hendersonville, Tennessee after she turned 13 to devote her time to courting labels of country music in Nashville.
